Nice work man! Love me some bourbon, have a few ideas for bottle projects myself. I always hate throwing these awesome looking bottles into the recycling bin.

FINALLY! A great idea for a way to keep my cool looking bourbon bottles! I'd made string lights out of some of mine, but they are a pain to make and not really handy to put up anywhere. Thanks! And I've got your "stupid cuts" topped....I'll tell you about it over a bourbon sometime!

Oh, congrats, Will! That's cool that you'll be on that podcast now. Looking forward to it! I think there would be some cool juxtaposition with storing simple things like cotton balls or cotton swabs in this jar. You know, things that promote health, since the bourbon doesn't actually. Anyway, nice video. ;)

That clamp "fixture" had me cringe even before the kickback!!! Literally squeezing the wood together with the blade running inside haha. Glad you weren't hurt.

Beautiful! I have a lot of jars that the lids rust and go pooey. I love my jars though, and need a way to make new lids.

What, oh what, to put in your newly created jar? Why, more bourbon, of course! Then sip it slowly -- after things are finished in the shop for the day... What a silly question.... ;) lol

2:18 - I'm planning on getting married this Summer so I've started noticing wedding rings. When I saw this shot, it immediately became clear to me that I want a style like yours. Simple straight band with that chamfer on the edges. Don't worry, I've already taken a screenshot and I'll use it as a reference to find something. But I wanted to say, (1) great taste! and (2) got any pointers for my search?

+Grant Trotter no lie, we were in the jewlers and I was trying to describe what I wanted. Someone came in to check their order and I said "that one!" I believe this is "brushed cobalt with a chamfered/bevel edge"

I’ve been woodworking for 40+ years. The scariest and most dangerous thing I have ever done was try to saw a round on a bandsaw. I didn’t get hurt but the kickback was violent and scary. Afterwards, I thought that was so stupid.

Yeah so blade pinch never good, I wonder if you could have stopped halfway through the cut and moved the clamp round to the back of the blade and continued so at no point do you pinch it. I think the clamp idea was pretty good and would be interested to know if anyone has any safer ways of making the cut as I can't think of any quick methods right now

A little hard to make it ,why not use an automatic copy machine? www.copyshapermachine.com ,find model MX7203 or MX7503,this two models can make wooden lids very fast and full automatic.
