This time I build a 3D marble run track in a wooden town.
There're altogether 3 videos featuring different tracks and here's the first one.
The scene is made with Blender and rendered with Cycles.
All motions are created using rigid body physics simulation.

You have really out done yourself with the theme. Really loving those camera angles, the light pouring out from the houses. The syncronizations of the movements... This is art for the soul. So many other things to point out that I admire but I will leave that for everyone else.

This is so top notch quality, congrats for the hard good job :) I wanted to asked, where do take the materials/textures from? I come from Cinema 4d, leaning Blender now and I didn't manage to find any collection of really good curated materials/textures like the ones Greyscalegorilla has for C4D. (Terrao, everyday materials, paper, wood, etc etc) Thanks in advance and keep on rockin'!

Excellent work, you pretty much nailed it! After watching it twice, I would suggest a bit more experimentation with subsurface scattering and diffuse/reflectiveness on the green and brown trees. Painted / stained wood is tricky. Since they aren't the main focus of the animation I didn't catch it at first, and it can be missed entirely by someone who doesn't pay attention to it. It also adds a ton of extra render time (especially for an animation!) so I don't blame you for skipping out on it.
