Man, I had to cut out of the livestream early, but I’m so glad I came back to watch the rest. Wow! 53:03 The beginner won’t tackle Eruption because they don’t think they’re allowed to. 🤯 I’ve had a couple of experiences that fit that description.. 🤦♂️

Andy Wood the most amazing guitarist I've never heard of hahaha until a couple years ago. I'm 56 been playing since I was 7. In 1983 yngwie malmsteen changed my life forever but I got in too deep and couldn't find a way out until Stevie Ray Vaughan entered my life. Took some time to break the neoclassical scale intensive shreddery but I retained what I learned and moved onto the expressive feeling of the Pentatonix. 35 years later, strolling through KZbin I come across this Andy wood guy😮 so I just want to say thanks!!! They say the third time's the charm and I never thought I'd see the day were chicken-picking and hot country licks were number one on my fretboard.. You're the best teacher I've never met Andy!!!! and I thank you from my heart...

Blackberry Blossom sounding real good on that T(ele)! 😆I also love the larger picks for acoustic. Have the same CT model Blue Chip but have also been experimenting with this Dunlop Prime Tone 1.5 that came with my Eastman E20D-MR-TC... It makes a really nice attack noise... that classic "clicking" sound that hear on the old Tony stuff like the tortoise shell picks.

The Two Rock, with the comp on came alive. every note ringing out, and just the right amount of lows, loved the warm mids, and just the right amount of top end. The Two Rock is the sound I strive for especially live. They all sound very good, and usable. I liked the Shaw next because it has this glassy top end on it, that really cuts. I think it has just a bit more low end than is really needed. The Suhr kind of reminds me of the Friedman BE, great gain and tone, just a bit darker sounding.

So some 20ish years ago, my buddy Tall Paul was playing at O'Charley's on the Cumberland strip in Knoxville on a Monday night, and some rail thin kid asks to play guitar with Paul. Paul figures nothing from nothing leaves nothing, an Andy takes his guitar. I have come to realize in the last 20 years or so, he can make music with a tooth brush. Just crazy amazing talented.

Appreciate the insight into how this piece of gear could be utilized in the real world. Appears it could be an entire pedalboard in a pinch, but rather applies as something that can cover 90% of what's needed. Small as can be, yet powerful as can be. Exp pedal is a must though, IMO. Great video.

@@larryproffitt1764 the rewind slider is your friend. I learned this stuff from rewinding albums with nobody teaching it to me, you can learn it too by re watching, hitting pause then the watching again.
