Things have changed a bit since I first went to a bike meeting at Snetterton back in the 60s. There used to be a foot bridge just after the start/finish which I and two mates decided to cross just before the start of the first race. These were the days of the push start so halfway across the bridge we didn't realise the race had started. We soon knew that it had because the noise was like something we had never experienced or believed possible. I swear I could feel my tiny brain vibrating inside my skull, it was the most malevolent din I had ever heard. Needless to say, the bridge was our chosen location for the rest of the race starts that afternoon. Some people think noise is a curse, others, like me think it's a vital part of motorsport.🏁

@@finleysisson9307 Thank you for your response I have attended the circuit since my Marshalling days in the 1960s. Then subsequently as a photographer and as a spectator ever since. Its now bland and boring and there are too many hairpin type bends. Sadly this is in common with most British circuits and may account for the drop in spectators figures. Of course This is just my opinion.

@@Tonywization I’m a marshal myself and I’ve never like snetterton, it’s too flat, too predictable and it’s all hairpins as you say. Really not a fan of the place
