Red Hot chili peppers were not the last band to play they're set ended before Megadeth set ended.... Ironically the very last song to ever be played at a quote unquote Woodstock was peace sells but who's buying fucking crazy and I was there in the middle....

I don't recall saying they were last on! I'm just keeping to my format by putting West stage first. Peace Sells being the last song ever played at a Woodstock though... unreal. Life is crazier than art.

I worked at Woodstock 1999 as an inventory guy for the pizza company that sold overpriced pizza and drinks. I was 17, it was my first paying job. I will never forget that weekend, I got paid to get high and drunk and watch some of my favorite bands of the time, was a hardcore Metallica fan at the time. I've told my story in the comments section of a lot of Woodstock 99 videos on her and a lot of people say I should write a book. It was my first paying job and my parents had to sign a release form because I was underage. It ended in disaster but I'm still happy I was there's I still feel it was the greatest experience in my life and would never trade that weekend for anything. First time I smoked actual really good weed, first time I got horribly drunk, first time I had sex, and saw many of my favorite bands at the time and got paid to do all that. I have a more grown up perspective of the whole situation now that I'm 40 and see a different picture of that weekend. I regret working with a company that charged $4 for a bottle water and 12 for a personal size frozen pizza, I didn't grasp all that at 17 but I do now. Almost got "fired" when my "supervisor" giving out free water to customers, and I don't regret it. Also first time I ever saw riot police and national guard in person. Lost my virginity there too lol. Still have the photos I took. Saw many bands I wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to, and some I became I big fan of. Also got paid to see Metallica for the 8th time, a band I've now seen 29 times. Hell of a weekend.

that’s insane! you should absolutely write a book or figure out a way to get your whole story out there! we have a lot of accounts from people who were just normal concertgoers but having an account of the festival from someone who worked for the vendors, especially a teenage employee, is rare!!!

She used to teach them yoga! Jenn's aunt, Rickie, just died a very short time ago! I used to watch her t.v. show when I was a kid! The Copper & Penny Show.

Derivative? I'd say, repetitive!! You could play me a bunch of tracks at random from most of these harder bands and I couldn't tell you one from another! They all sound exactly the same to me! Does the Megadeath singer have his jaw wired shut or is he practicing ventriloquism? Well, I'm glad I missed this one! Other than maybe Elvis and the Peppers, I wouldn't have paid $5.00 to see any of those bands.

I actually don't have anything against them really, this project took hundreds of hours in total to make - this was the last band I had to edit and I was getting to the point where I had to entertain myself a little. I actually own Californication on vinyl as well as BSSM and a couple more on CD. Personally I feel this wasn't their best era as a live band and sounded much better live during By the Way and onwards. Also, I did say that *most* people who were watching used the candles responsibly but that others didn't. Thanks for watching anyway, all the best
@SoupA1502 жыл бұрын
@@Shaunography fair enough. I did enjoy getting through this whole 3 part series overall. I have seen the Peppers many times including during this era. I think I saw three shows around this period. All pretty good with diversity in the setlists. Anyway. It does come across as though you have something against them. Oh, and I think it was Bungle. I said FNM. Patton and Kiedis have some type of rivalry. Bungle was denied playing the BDO in Australia at Kiedis request. Thanks for the response and comprehensive Woodstock 99 review.
@Shaunography2 жыл бұрын
@@SoupA150 it was Mr. Bungle yeah. If I remember correctly - the RHCP management sent an apology to Mr. Bungle, outlining that it was "Anthony Kiedis in particular" who had the problem with Mike Patton & Mr. Bungle. Pretty sure the rest of the band was embarrassed by the situation. If I were to make this again I'd probably leave out the Bungle thing though, since I genuinely have nothing against the Chili Peppers and I respect their career and impact on the business Glad you enjoyed the reviews overall though!
