Kate when working with the challah bread dough if you lightly oil your hands and the surface it makes it much easier to make the ropes. That was an amazing color and I did not see the egg wash I have been taught to use on the challah! That don’t looks amazing!

I am interesting in more meat cooking recipes. I was raised mostly vegetarian and I can make a whole chicken or a Thanksgiving turkey, but that's about it. I know to some its simple, but I'm kind of lost and I want to get some experience under my belt...plus I'm just hungry for meat lol

Your potatoes look great! They’ve lasted a good while. What variety are they? Mine here in SW Mo (USA) have all long since sprouted and now are planted in the garden for this year’s crop…. BUT, I don’t have a basement or root cellar to store them in… wish I did.

We usually plant Sieglinde, Cariba and one that Marius' family has been planting for years with no name. Our cool room is great, but it's not a perfect set up. We have to keep an eye on them

@VenisonforDinnerАй бұрын
It's very sturdy but you don't want the kids playing with it as it puts the fan out of whack, then it won't work. It's an Eco Fan.

lots of potato scabs - way to much fertilize and or manure in your garden they must smell very fishy when you harvest them.
@VenisonforDinner8 ай бұрын
We were told its an acidity thing to do with watering but seeing as a lot of our garden watering is from rain its hard to control. We did a tester with adding elemental sulphur when planting and it helped. But scabs are mostly just esthetics…still great food!
@skrywenko65968 ай бұрын
@@VenisonforDinner yeah generally from growing in manure or perhaps you are growing in peat moss.. couple ways get around that as i live in and area of lots of peatmoss you can plow deep and bring up clay and then blend the clay into peat moss . it add alot of trace mineral not found in peat or you can manually add lime (add 4 pounds of dolomitic limestone per cubic yard) and copper ( 3 tbsp to 5 gallons water to 1000 sqf of garden) you do not have to do it too often once every 5 years or so. the rain just try to have your rows so it does not hold back the water and plant on a slight grade if you can
