Like my Frostriver Arrowhead your Jr Bushcraft is a beautiful pack. They have an aesthetic that enhances the experience in the woods for me. I am not ashamed to admit that aesthetics is an important part of smoothing it in the woods for me. These traditional materials are also quiet.

Your right about the quality and looks, they certainly take some beating. I saw a Duluth pack on ebay the other day and they wanted $46,000 for it. It turned out to be the prototype canoe pack that the original guy hand made about 100 years ago. It looked a bit battered, so I gave it a miss :) Speak soon brother, all the best, Mark.

I know this subjective but with consideration of the weight of the pack, how long would you hike with it?

Thanks for watching and a good question! I would certainly be ok hiking for several hours with this pack, it is quite comfortable when loaded up correctly. When I do a 50miler over 3-4 days I bring ultralight gear, it just makes more sense to me. The Isle Royale is built for a different type of travel. I love both types of hiking I guess. Hello from your friend in Georgia! I am debating getting this pack this fall for day hikes, bush rafting and hike in one or two night camping. Obviously after 4 months you were 100 percent loving this pack. Do you still use and recommend it? I have a nice Osprey backpacking backpack but it is overkill for most of what I do now at age 60. Plus I do love the aesthetics, feel and nostalgia of this pack. Is it worth the investment or should I spend money on other gear and continue to use my Osprey pack?

Hi! I gave the specs in the vid but totally cinched down it's less than 30 litres.
