Incredible artist. For the love of burls. I live in the boreal forest in northwestern Canada. A walk in the woods looking for burls is spiritual. Inspirational video.

I had heard about you. I can't believe I took this long to see this video. I'm stunned and awed. A true master.

What an incredible talent. Many years ago I read an article about her in Woodwork magazine. Sometimes I re-read it when I'm looking for inspiration.

Wow, only 375 views of this amazing artist, and no comments. Her work is really inspiring. It's interesting that her lathe is not a wood lathe, and she says "I am not a woodturner's turner."....because the lathe is a metal lathe. Most of her work is very highly carved. I was inspired by it at an American Association of Woodturners' conference some time ago...in their gallery. Michelle Holtzkapfel sure has a great imagination and the ability to turn it into amazing art.
