Hi Martin gorgeous work love it. Could you please tell me how you deal with the woodworm in the elm do you treat it in any way? I have been given a ton or more of burr elm but it is very wormy it's been ded for about 15-20 years. I seem to find when trying to sale pieces with worm holes in it is a bit of a niche market. Love your videos thank you for all your work.
@MartinWoodhead10 ай бұрын
Thank you very much Jason. There's no need to treat worm holes, If there are any worms they will die as the wood dries. Thanks for watching! 😊

Hi 👋, Martin , I hope you are keeping safe and well, That is a beautiful looking 👀 piece of Elm 🌳 , I have been busy, trying to put a training system in in front of my basement doors, Last year, I took a trench going with my basement door straight across in front of my garage workshop, so I could then get the water away down the embankment to the, There’s been serious problems with the road at the front it only comes down to my place and my next door neighbour , the rain and frost over the last two or three years has blown the road, last week they decided to come down and repair it, I’ve good reason to believe that my next door neighbour told the people to fill in my trench, then was told that I had to run my drainage pipe through the garage and out of the back wall, this is what the French people are like, I don’t like it because I’ve managed to, buy my ex partners, half share of the property, so it is entirely mine now so I can do what I like, So over the last 10 days, roughly, I have been digging a new trench picked up a load of plastic pipe yesterday, I forgot to get 2 33° bends, I was hoping to put the pipework in this morning and then this afternoon do the concreting that supports the channel where the water hopefully go down from my basement doors, to say that I’m knackered as an understatement, Speak to you soon , hope you have a great weekend, keep up the great work, from the moulin,

Thanks very much Phil. You should not be digging drainage ditches by hand at your age! I'm not surprised your knackered! Take what's left of the weekend of, put your feet up, and you'll be nice and fresh and back at it first thing Monday morning!!! 😉
