Love the vase! Interesting texture, the color of the resin didn't overwhelm the other aspects. I always find cones in resing interesting, so many kinds and shapes to be used and revealed.

It's certainly something different and it looks great.👍👍 I also like working with epoxy, it's great stuff, but it does make a lot of mess.

Thank you! Yes, it is a rather messy process :)

Very nice job. How do you preserve the moth to keep it so green?
@EpoxyWood Жыл бұрын
Thank you. I don't preserve moss myself, it is already preserved when I buy it.

great video Alicja, I think you would enjoy working on a bigger/heavier lathe as i think this piece really pushed your lathes limits.
@EpoxyWood Жыл бұрын
Thank you George, yes exactly, it looks like I might need a bigger lathe sooner rather than later!

Really really beautiful! Is that ash? You inspired me to make the 4 hole Christmas ornament with the little Christmas tree inside. Turned out great. I really enjoy what you do. Newest subscriber! I initially thought you were setting up for an interior light but this was just as cool. The insert for the stems/feathers was very smart. Keep up the good work!

Hi. like it a lot....you seem to have a bit of a shake or wobble on bigger stuff.. had the same thing years ago an a older chap told me to put two steel tubes small in diameter to cross on the outer edge under the lathe bed from the floor up to the other side it worked for me...hope you don't mind me saying..DAVID..N.S.W. AUSSIE..

I hate when people say they aren't a professional and then pulls something like this out of their ass. I mean what really makes a professional? And to say you aren't is just looking for compliments. This is an amazing piece

Good video, really neat project. Good demonstration. But I think most of us don't watch to be entertained. We want to learn, you should tell us what you're doing, instruct. And some audio to your videos. We would learn and get so much more if you teach us.
