Bring on the umbrellas (as long as they're dry and padded on the end)! It amazes me how true your spacer rings run even after that many rings. Mine tend to wobble a little - probably because I don't have the 3-4 weeks of patience you have. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.

Ron, this piece, like all your other pieces, is a MATERPIECE! I really enjoy your work no matter what the format is you use. I've watched your videos dating back to '15 & enjoyed them all to date. Tim, I can't thank you enough for your continued interest in my projects! You are a big part of my motivation! Segmented turning looks a lot more difficult than it is. Just make a ring, you'll learn enough from that one ring to continue with a full project. Try a cheap pine 1x2 cut into 16 one inch pieces at 11.25 degrees (the one inch is the outer measurement, the inner measurement doesn't matter...) feel free to email me with questions 🙂
