Wow, that IS a lovely piece of wood. You are right, that grain is GORGEOUS! I was a little skeptical at first, the idea of dyeing the wood, but the black DOES make the grain pop around the rim, and the color combo you chose works very well. The design is cool, and your attention to detail while turning is fantastic, to judge by the results. I'd like to second the comments about your voiceover with the videos being a good idea. I would also like to add that you do great work, and I look forward to seeing you on every week. Rockler might be a tad on the pricey side, but they are well worth it, I think. The service is superb at my local Rockler.
