Just saw the video. Beautiful work. Simple design. Letting the wood speak for itself. Was that a carbide gouge you were using? How do you like it versus non-carbide ones?

It was a carbide, when I done this video I used carbide tools 95 per cent of the time, just recently I have started to learn to use the traditional tools and have found they both have benefits and negatives like I say to everyone try out both and get a feel for each. Everyone has there own preferences but for me i like both 👍👍👍

Hi Stu, thank you! I have seen this method done on a few videos and wanted to give it ago, seems to work fine. I like to try out different methods and see what works for me. So you might see me use various finishes on different projects to see how they turn out 👍 👍
