Thank you for watching and for inspiring me. I used the steel wool just to de-nib the sanding sealer to help with the abrasive paste doing the final process.

Thanks, Huw! I turned the middle out within 10 minutes, tops. The intrinsic dyes dry very quickly, and didn't even move when I scraped the foam off with the squeegee.

Thanks, amd good luck. It doesn't dry know the piece. Right after I pulled it out of the shaving foam, I scraped it off with a squeege. The dyes had already gotten into the wood, so they did not streak or anything.

How did the mylands compare to the shellac, it appears to have a orange peel texture?

I think the mylands goes on smoother and knocks back a little better, but thats just how I feel it worked.
