Very nice. Lathe work is most relaxing to me. I truly liked watching the progress. Thanks.

We share similar flora and fauna over here in Idaho, and tho russian olives do provide another striking color range of the natural palette, they are mostly seen a one of those natives that are a trash tree. I have seen some folks do some very imaginative and judicious pruning to make them more attractive in their landscapes. I never would have thought the finished results of turning the wood to be so fantastic. Thanx.

I thought you were crazy starting off the way you did… I was wrong, can’t argue with the result. Nice turning

Very nice thanks for sharing. What sanding unit are you using. Thanks!

Very nice, It's seems that your CA glue is black. Is it a special one? I am a beginner and sanding is some time very long. You used a turning machin, which kind of drill do you use? Thanks a lot David from France

Starbond makes a black CA glue which is very useful to have. I have a couple of drills. One Ryobi and one Mikita, but I usually just let the spinning action of the lathe do the work.

What did you spray on the bowl before the CA glue? I assume it was to prevent staining???
@CASWoodcraft2 жыл бұрын
Yep. it was just some lacquer.

Crack-tastic was an appropriate name but the piece looks good anyway.
