@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 When she was young, all the girls wore those hug e hoop earrings but she felt that heavy earrings made your ear lobes grow and stopped. I'd love to make her a set like you just did. Those would be cool but I have to make the chucks first.

That was brilliant explaining what the bands do & don’t do. I had also presumed that it was only them holding not only the work but, the chuck as well. After your explanation, all made sense, they are only passive, with the main chuck holding in full contact. Brilliant Glenn. 👏
