Wow! Simon that piece is beautiful, the markings are just amazing, we don't get woods like that in Northern Ireland so maybe I appreciate your art even more 😎

that finish is outstanding. I just finished making an ambrosia maple bowl, my first. I used tounge oil, doesn't look like the one you made, grain doesn't pop like that. good work brother.

Great Job in you projects and more so in your effort to give a presentation in English. Many years ago (back in 1964) I joined the Royal Canadian Navy and at the time my English was less than yours right now. So, I know exactly what you are going through and you are doing a very good job. I could recite a hundred stories of miscommunication while learning to communicate in a second language most of then very funny...... Now I'm the other way around, I still have a strong accent but I have forgotten a lot of my French..... I live in a totally English place.... would you believe Texas... yep no French here. Keep up the good work..... I'll keep on watching.

That finish is brilliant, the shine is out of this world. I was looking for your video on the pepper grinder because I would like to try to make one but your videos only go back six months and it is not shown. Would it be possible to see this video please.
i really love the look of that finnish, do you have a video of the way you applied the epoxy finnish, besides the barbeque rotisserie motor ?

SG Art Turning okay lol, it gave me a max amount of times. So I did 2, not sure if that's with giveaways or what. You might be able to change it to just a monthly donation. I just signed up a couple days ago to support Peter Brown with ShopTime and yourself!

Have you ever got dimpiling in the epoxy? I've recently have been having trouble with this finish. I did sand to 400. Is it possible that is too high?
@simongadoury32447 жыл бұрын
+Tom Savadel no I don't think 400 is to high, what kind of epoxy you use?
@TomSavadel7 жыл бұрын
SG Art Turning I use east coast resins . I have great success filling deep voids with it. I did use an oil based finish but also preped with oil based poly for adhesion. What type of finishes do you use under the epoxy? I'm thinking is does not like to evenly cure over oil based. I do have some aniline dyes I can try. But any recommendation you have would be great. Thanks
@simongadoury32447 жыл бұрын
+Tom Savadel I never use anything under the epoxy. And I don't have alot of experience with epoxy. I always use the same method.
@TomSavadel7 жыл бұрын
