That's a beautiful piece! My uncle was heavy into turning and he showed me a piece that he made. It was not a glue up, similar shape to yours here but taller. He had painstakingly turned the wall thickness down to where he could lower a lightbulb inside and light could be seen through the wall. It was quite amazing. Someday when I have space and time available I want to take up this hobby and see what kind of work I'm capable of. Please keep sharing your skills!
