Great vid Dave I should get one of these as I have tons of pen blank off cuts. Very interested in the vent drill bit where did you get it mate?

Thanks Dave. The drill bit was part of the kit but Planet do sell it on it's own. Take a deep breathe because it's £13.80. Link in the description but I bought mine from Snaitons (the kit I mean).....or does "vent" mean centre, in which case Axminster!!

Thanks very much Huw! In spindle orientations I think it's sharp skew for the win with Black palm. Cutting it end grain I have no idea how to get a good finish. I can only imagine Andy Philips uses some sort of voodoo/black magic! Cheers, Dave
