Tim, just found this channel and really liking the variety of your topics. In this video you talked about an LED light and I have been looking at LED lights bulbs (not fixtures) for my lathe. Can you or anyone else recommend a brand and possibly a specific light (soft, bright, natural)? I have a 4224b with two 100w fixtures that will take a size up to the "normal" incandescent size.

Sorry for the late reply Ryan. I have not found an led yet that is economical . Also I have had a hard time finding a 100w equivalent that shines a soft natural light. If you find one let me know. My next upgrade is to see if I can replace my fluorescent fixtures with LEDs.

Hi Tim, Your comments on the Robust have peaked my curiosity. If you are familiar with the OneWay 2436, can you tell me advantages your Robust has? These two are the lathes I am considering. Thanks for your comments.

Very nice Tim. One question for you. I make a lot of game calls and bottle toppers, when I sand I sand with walnut oil. Can you do this with the baronet? Will the baronet last as long ? Thanks.

I have not had a chance to wet sand with the Abranet. I will give it a shot and get back with you. My first thought is that it should hold up fine to the oil.

I have to ask; do wood turners make a living selling their work? Seems like a quite a limited amount of things made for sale, and never covering the costs. Is wood turning more of a hobby, so the expensive tools, don't need to pay for themselves, or earn you a living?
