You are such fun to watch - I am learning and laughing. I just ordered a rubber chucky and I am anxious to try it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on turning.

I love how you not only show us how to make a project, but get into the fine details of holding the tools at a specific angle, little tips on getting a better finish or shape, how to make something esthetically pleasing, and also that we can make a mistake and live through it to try again. You're a great teacher. Having some very cool projects to make doesn't hurt any either ;). I'll keep watching and learning as long as you keep turning.

Tim, I followed you on PBS and now youtube. Your humor adds to your videos, but your viewers know the quality of work you turn out. Can you share where we can get a rubber chucky.

Very interesting box. The finial is very good. The Rubber Chuckey tail center appeared to do a very good job. Looks like I may have to get one of those. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe. 🙂🙂

Thank you Tim, so good hearing from you again, COVID decimated the Clubs and symposiums then fuel cost and inflation have overwhelmed us so have lost interest in turning in fact I'm selling out lock, stock and barrel to a warmer climate and taking up fishing as I can't can't eat wood.

Interesting and lovely project Tim. If you do happen to um, accidentally drill through the lid, it would be a great excuse to make an even smaller Finial and have that on the inside, as though they pass through and into the box. Thanks for sharing.

I love your videos! At 27:19 you mentioned a “cricket.” Were you referring to the extra sound coming from your easy chuck? Mine makes that same sound as well, is there anything you can do to stop it? Thanks so much, your instruction is exceptional!
