OMG. Finally someone taking the time to trim down the job to an almost round object before turning it. I was getting tired of seeing people stick these dangerous looking things on the lathe and then start turning them.

It looks beutiful but the side that likes drawing and coloring is sad cuz those were good pencils that could've been used for drawing.

I thought this was exaggeration, but watching how they move their hands at 3:06 makes me nervous. Like not even any gloves? Gloves should be the bare minimum safety with saws along with safety glasses. I hope they stay safe.

@@jb6712 Works posted in a public forum will are subject to public opinon. My opinion is that the piece is overly-complicated, especially compared to simpler, more elegant woodturning projects, of which there are literally hundreds of examples on KZbin.

Great work and craftsmanship. On a FYI note it never fails to amaze me when I see the upper guide on a band saw held so high over the work. I still have all my fingers after all these yrs, but I did cut myself badly once not following this rule.

I love how the finished design comes through on its own, the form created it's own pattern. This was fascinating to watch and I agree that this may be the best use of epoxy and colored pencils in woodturning I have seen on KZbin!
