@6:57 Been there, done that. I use a steel screw to form thread in the wood. Then the brass screws turn easy.

I just came across these Rali Swiss made hand planes that seem intriguing. They have a replaceable, double sided steel or carbide blade and a seemingly very easy throat and depth adjustment.

¡Gracias! Tengo una sierra de caja de ingletes para cortar los ángulos, pero su uso requiere mucho trabajo. El solo uso de la sierra de mano es más rápido y preciso.
