It's amazing to me--and I can relate--that Mariel Hemingway says that, even as a young girl, she felt Woody Allen's confusion about her was understandable. As an adult, I'm sure she realized, she'd been totally groomed by a predator. I was understanding to a predator when I was young too. This is the naive and generously trusting spirit of a lot of young girls who are manipulated by predators.

She can remember (and present) her experience with Allen as a sordid grooming of a naive child by a middle-aged pedophile or as a normal love affaire between a young girl and an aging movie mogul. The latter is better for her own self-esteem. So it's what she chose. And then again, Allen, when his other sins were exposed, really needed her to say that their relationship had been healthy and normal, and he had the means to pay for such support. I hope the price was really high.

Funny how Woody Allen wanted his wife to play in rosemary's baby 1968. You remember the Roman Polanski movie ??? Remember, the one that Mia pharaoh's character was groomed to have a child to be sacrificed to the satanic luciferian crowd. A year later1969, polanski's daughter, Sharon Tate, 9 months pregnant, what happened too her. Anybody put any of this together yet?😮

Everyone and their mother did that in their time though. Mia was married to Frank Sinatra. Then married some old opera dude. then Allen etc. and she claims her son from Woody is actually from Sinatra etc. And honestly, as long as they are adults I don't think there is technically anything wrong with dating someone much older. As long as it's not under duress. It's creepy and kinda weird. But it's not "wrong". What is wrong is dating your ex wife's adopted daughter. But from some other videos I've seen that defend Woody, even that has been portrayed super wrongly. Like he started molesting and grooming some underage child. When in reality he started dating the adult adopted daughter of his ex ( still messed up, let me make that clear ). But if you look into the situation, you quickly figure out that Mia is 10x worse and a literal psycho.

@@texasray5237 That's such backward ass logic. Bro, HOW do you know? You just psychologically analyse someone you have literally never ever met? That's wild to me man. "she's just coping trying to make herself feel better'.. or .. hear me out. OR, she just feels that way and doesn't mind and didn't think it's wrong. Everyone did that back then, it was the most normal thing to them. You people are so wildly parasocial with this stuff. Mia btw married like 4 different much older dudes. Including Frank Sinatra, her fist husband when he was like 19 or so and he was over 50. She still speaks frankly about him. In fact she claims her and woody's son was actually Sinatra's.

When Woody Allen was filming Blue Jasmine he and his small entourage came to visit the museum in San Francisco that I worked at. I didn’t happen to be there that day, but my 19 year old coworker said that he didn’t know who he was and treated him like any other guest, no discount or VIP service. Well apparently this wasn’t acceptable to Woody Allen who is used to being recognized and given special treatment wherever he goes, and he went off on my coworker and threw a tantrum and acted like a Dbag. My coworker felt TERRIBLE. And I kinda wish I had been there because if Woody Allen treated me like that, or if I witnessed him treat someone else like that, I would like to think I would have said “You’re awfully cocky for someone who’s humiliated himself in public dating his own daughter.” It would be worth getting fired over as I ended up quitting that job not long after that anyway

Putting aside the grooming allegations and the SA, he married a young woman who was an adopted child of his then girlfriend. He can say he wasn’t around all he wants, he was and she was barely legal. I will say this as well, Hollywood might have looked the other way, BUT the Hollywood media did NOT. I was a child when the news dropped that he was marrying Soon Yi and the Hollywood media repeatedly brought up the disgusting situation. I would watch interviews with celebrities where they would bring up that he was marrying Mia’s adopted daughter and the other allegations and would even comment “you know that’s weird right?” They NEVER looked the other way. In fact, it was the Hollywood media who brought up the allegations to Margo Robbie who was going to appear in a new Woody Allen movie and she was shocked. She and others dropped out. So although it would appear that he got away with it, Hollywood media would NEVER let it go. Note: I never liked him nor his movies and when it came out that he was marrying Soon Yi, I thought it was gross. Edit: I would also like to point out that many actors and actresses worked with Woody despite everything that came out. And although I said that the Hollywood media would continually bring up the allegations, he had his defenders one of which was Diane Keaton.

BE, great video. I can't wait to see part 2. I find it strange that many people continue to doubt him being a predator despite interviewers consistently questioning him about his relationships with younger women for decades. Even with his victims being incredibly vocal about the connections being "consensual." Did he hide his relationship with the last victim because she was the one he chose to be the most "free with" (i.e., the threesomes)? The saddest part is that no one, even the parents, seems to hold him accountable.

Please keep making these, whomever does this has a true documentarian gift. Objective, thorough, and entertaining as well as informative. I'm sure you've seen it in preparation for Pt. 2, but that Allen v Farrow documentary is powerful. He was so so so creepily fixated on poor Dylan. The media always focused on that one act (in the attic with the train set) and it was a big ol' he said/she said, but all the court documents and medical records were very clear in his "inappropriate obsession" with her. She was a child. I loved a lot of his movies, just like I like That 70s show, some Cosby stuff, Michael Jackson music... It's so so so hard to separate the artist from the art.

I cannot understand how talented people get away with repulsive behavior. But on second thought, there are people I know that have no talent that run around getting away with poor behavior too. I get that everything is complicated. There’s more gray in the world than black and white. I believe though, no matter who you are, you are aware of what you are up to. Your narcissism may not allow you to know it, but deep down you know there’s something wrong with you. Woody Allen’s issues are so old news by now. Hell, we have plenty to take over for him. But I find what he did very self serving, entitled, un-empathetic, and dicey as hell.

Rowan is more of a man than Woody could ever think about. The good thing that came from Woody are his children and the fact after being abused and becoming adults they help others who have been abused. Rowan was the first person to get a woman to speak on Weinstein. That says a lot about Rowan. And I'm not going to even start on him marrying his daughter, It doesn't matter that she was adopted, the father role is the same. You can do your own research to make you conclusion on if he was doing that before she was 18. And it seems that he was. Ugh

As a teenage boy who would shop for films at thrift stores, I came across Annie hall and fell in love with the type of comedy. I had no issue with this awkward guy, and I think that’s what most would feel. But if you just objectively look at his choices and actions, we then realize how manipulative and corrupt this man really is: maybe one day there will be justice for the women he hurt. This guy hasn’t suffered enough.

But I'm not going to pretend that I immediately accepted it as the truth because sadly no one seems to have legally pursued this case which is sad af. Mia Farrow needs to be exposed as well! She is responsible for a couple of her children committing suicide and she’s got a major white savior thing going on. Moses Farrow is now an adoption trauma therapist. You should hear what he has to say about being raised by Mia.

Is there anything on this out yet? Docs or anything? The HBO doc was obviously sided with Mila but I do believe her children. I've never heard this about her.

It's so sick how many children she's adopted. Messed up.

@@betheecommentator oh yay! I don’t think I’ve ever seen an expose on her & you’re such a great documentarian.

@@egg_bun_ I know! Adoption requires so much special care, but she compounds that by adopting from out of the country and disabled as well! It’s careless & sick!

I am just so in love with this channel. I just found it today and the narrator is wonderful! She is so good at what she does without showing her opinion. She is just really really good! Great channel!! Been binging.. ❤❤❤❤ I really need to get some sleep..lol.

You have to do Chris Watts soon. Something tells me that your "lay it on the table" style would fit that good. Bravo on unearthing this one though.
