Comcast support had me flick the pin on the coax cable and it actually worked. I got a decent jolt of static from it, and afterward the connectivity problems were gone. I install voice and data cabling now. There are all kinds of weird, unexpected ways that a connection can fail.

when a company isnt helping you with your problem, reporting them to the BBB can actually help. its helped me before with cellular providers, and their parent company actually reached out to me and fixed the issue in 5 minutes. i went from explaining the same problem 50 times to a different indian guy each time, to getting a direct phone call, from an American man, who spoke english since birth, and he fixed it so fast.

If you can get Time Warner(now spectrum), get it, even if you're not a business customer. I had AT&T and my speed went down to dial up speeds from gig both ways, wouldn't do a thing about it, cancelled my appointment a week ahead, we call Spectrum, next fucking day, someone gets the router connected and I'm getting at least my paid speeds or more per device. that and you're not locked into a contract, and they'll buy you out of a contract (if you have AT&T, you get locked into a contract for the first year and have to pay a fee) well the first night we had a problem, the wifi went down, the router told me to ask them to re-configure the DHCP so i told them to do it and 5 minutes later they had it up and running, guy was super nice, clearly an american. 10/10 would spectrum again

@@elianmejia4795 KZbin won't give you anything meaningful, however you do have an annual hacker meet up. Those guys are top notch but they don't hack for illegal purposes. You could start by searching them up maybe you will find someone who could point you to a beginner tutorial. It takes time and alot of practice but it is very rewarding. You would need to boot through linux to make things easier and safer if you are inside the USA.

Also read up on viruses and how you can make the inti your own minions, skip ransomware. If you get into a group that would boost your learning, but that's hard because people have trust issues. 1 thing don't USE YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTER FOR HACKING.

UNTIL Setup: ISP modem set to passtruemode (It turns off DNS, Wifi and firewall on that modum, it will let you plugin 1 device, that will get your Public IP) So I hooked up my Router Asus RT-AC88U to the ISP modem. I Get no IP on the router?! I connect my laptop, I get a Wan IP. plugin, my router... No ip So I reset the router cos i installed DD-WRT as the router OS, So turned it all back to default. Retry 4-6 times?! i call the ISP, ISP says its ok just press the reset button on the modum Was not thinking so i did it just to be nice Bang Phone cuts out, now you have to wait for 30min to 4 hours for the activation signal, Next day, i try the modum in normal mode, Giving out Lan IP's router get a IP works fine. So i turn passtrue mode on one's more. Same problem. I call Asus, pissed. SUR We have to go true the steps before I can help you more. Me pissed of OK! I follow the instruction to the letter, Unplug the power cable to both router, and modum. Wait for 10 sec, Power ON modum, wait for 30 seconds, Plugin the RJ45 connector (internet cable), Now power on the router. it works I have a IP... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! So aperendly the first time you turn on that router it calabrates the settings, based on what is plugged in. and if you plug it in to fast It thinks its on LAN mode, but it gets a Wan IP so it blocks it and it just wont calabrate correctly and gets confused. I was SOOO Pissed, mainly at my self. Now I understand why its asked. (So unless you ask me to do REAL Stupid stuff, I wont complain) Story 2: Now when I call my ISP: 1: I get transferred to the 2 or 3rd Line helpdesk. 2: Thay get a giant POPUP window as soon as they lookup my address or phone nr. Why? GDPR... I do all the network stuff at home, So some time's I have to call the ISP while my dad is not home. Well because of GDPR they were not allowed to help me cos I'm not the owner. So I contacted the ISP legal team, its fun and all, but is there a option for my dad to give me access? Well there was No option, So specially for me thay made a option. Now when I call the ISP helpdesk they get a Popup with sound, Exsplaining that I should get access, And also than I'm a Trained ICT expert LOL how do I know? I called them ones and the helpdesk person was asking me How the hell i got them to do that for me LOL!!!
