Kyle brushed over it quickly here about other prisoners assuming he was a snitch, but he went into more detail on another podcast. He was so clean shaven and well spoken that, at first, most of the prisoners refused to associate with him assuming he was a "plant" by the Prison Security Service to spy and snitch on prisoners (which apparently does happen). It was only after a couple weeks when they began to warm up to him because apparently "plants" don't stay in that long.

He got pissed off, and suddenly I was a 'lawyer' because I read a 16 page pamphlet. To be completely honest, I'm considering getting a law degree because our current public defenders are terrible at their job. Kyle at the end talks about lying about what he was in for in prison. That's a big no-no. In Prison you can actually look up other people's cases and find out what they're in for. If you lie about it, they really don't like it. They probably wouldn't care about Kyle's charge, but for someone who did something else they would. It was actually good he told the truth because if they looked him up they knew he was trustworthy and wasn't lying to em and they respect that in Prison
