Woody is just such a nice person. Always trying to help out young up and coming musicians. Polar opposite of Buddy Rich in my opinion, its great really!

Back when even some jazz players used the term 'legit' when describing classical players. Now talking about "'legit' vs jazz musicians" is a capital offense, and rightly so. It was just part of the rhetoric back then.
