The triangles at the bottom end of the poster represent the forces Darkness, which we would not learn was a physical entity until some time into the release of Destiny 2. 5:46 5 months prior to the release of the MCC, Marty was let go from Bungie. He used to say "be nice to the goose," referring to variously himself or the developer. That is, don't mistake the golden eggs, the IP, to be more important than the people who can come up with it. If this is an original texture from the anniversary, I wonder if it's a reference to him having that saying for a long time, or if it was added in the MCC I wonder if it was added as an explicit reference to Marty O'Donnell.

This was present on the OG CEA release I believe. I sincerely doubt it’s a reference to Marty though due to his hostility towards 343 and that team in general. Plus, there’s a goofy easter egg of him on one of the later ODST missions that was removed from the MCC release. It was a crudely animated PNG of him dancing but it was swapped with Frank O’ Conner when ODST was added to the collection. I have no idea why they’d do that other than if they were trying to distance themselves from him. I can’t say for certain that’s the case but those are my suspicions anyway
