Having someone like you on the ground in Japan sourcing JDM cars for markets back in the UK could well be an asset if you can find the right people to work with. Even closer to home, here in HK, people do that and I wonder if there are any opportunities that haven’t already been exploited by the big guys.

I was wondering the same thing. At the moment any car that is capable of drifting in Japan has gone up in price, even though currently the yen is weak. Some abandoned cars are certainly cool but could be expensive due to import costs to the uk?

@@MEZURASHII.lifeinJapan A friend of mine here in HK was also looking at motorbikes and said they are quite good value if you import from Japan and are prepared to go through the hassle of re-registering here so you might want to look at motorbikes too.
