As a person who bought one, I would strongly recommend not buying it. I was looking forward to this so hard and was really let down. I probably used it 3 times and now it's back in the box. When turned up, you could hear it vibrating loud enough that it was easily audible with my open-backed headphones. Watching people react to it was such a farce in my opinion. It literally just feels like something's vibrating on you in two specific areas. Nothing like "being a concert" like they claim. Keep your expectations low and this might be okay for you. It will by NO means be "mind blowing."

I got mine and it is NOT "intense" or WOAH! Like people on KZbinr were saying. I even saw a guy or two saying he had to turn it down because it was too intense as to be distracintg. it feels like getitng tickled with a slight vibration, like what a game controler is ding when it vibrates. Very weak vibrations and also only on certain frequencies. My Metallica music I was plkayinmg at max setting was almost not moving at all. Maybe when I strap into VBR itl be a bit better with gun shots and stuff, feeling al little more immersive. I wonder if many of the reviews I have seen have just been using the TEST TONES video specifically set to make it vibrate the most, and not real actual things like music or games?

P.S. Double plus thank you for the review re:women's bodies because that is EXACTLY what started me off looking for video reviews of this. I was like "Wait, they're pretty much just showing that one woman with it on her hips.... wait, did that guy wear it diagonally across his chest?" It's kind of telling that they don't seem to have addressed any of this yet. Thanks for the review. With what's going on now, I feel like people are way more likely to be looking at items like this, especially as physical stimulation to negate anxiety and pain. I'm kind of curious as to why they're still crowdfunding, if that's the more financially viable option for smaller companies these days, to conduct sales this way long term or for the first few iterations. Hm.

Hi, thanks for reviewing this. I have two questions that you may have the answers to: 1. If it transforms stereo to mono, what about the headphones output? Do I still get stereo in my headphones when they're connected through the woojer? 2. Does it transfer microphone signal? If I play online with a headset will I be able to chat normally if my microphone headphones are connected through the woojer?

I have just received the vest edge device and it's awesome! In the UK it was £300 which is pretty good for a device with so many actuators. I'm not a small guy, so it's a tight fit, but I don't care. It's a tool for home use. I got the strap adge for a girl friend and she has the same issues with it. She likes the effect, so gets by it. Of course that meant that I had to buy her a new cell phone with better Bluetooth, so it's getting up there in price, but I help all friends as much as I can. It has been an extraordinarily expensive two weeks, but so be it.

I especially like how you added the female perspective to the video. The marketing videos makes it look like no sweat, no configuring issues when the female wears them. 🤔 That's really good to know...since I was going to get one for my daughter if this worked out, but maybe this one is not right for her, at this time. We'll see how it goes.

Hey man. Great Channel. First off I want to say I ordered the subpac before I watched your reviews. a bit excited I can't wait for it to get here and I was watching your reviews just to see what the woojer was. I'm happy to hear that I made the right choice I just wanted to say thank you for taking your time to review both items. Also I was talking to some friends about the subpac and the woojer. I'm glad you touched on the woojer and how it fits on a woman's body. That way I can relay it to her. That is something I never even thought of and that is a very important thing. Thanks again man I will definitely subscribe to your Channel. Keep making awesome videos. Your great at it.

Watching this because I wanna decide if I am going to buy the new Woojer Vest Edge. I had the M2x before but sold it. When you say this strap thing has like 1/2 the strength of the M2x... and the new transducers they use are advertised as 3x stronger (52mm transducer instead of 32mm)... And their Vest Edge uses 6 of those AND stereo input/output... for 299$ plus shipping on Indiegogo currently. Also they basically advertise through one of their pictures 1-500Hz. Will you get one?

Would agree with other comments about it being underwhelming and not really worth recommending. For me the deal breaker was the latency you get when used via Bluetooth. I specifically wanted to use it with my phone, connecting to both a Bluetooth speaker and the Woojer (a usecase they said would be possible on the Kickstarter page). Problem is the delay between the two Bluetooth devices is too great. The Woojer is noticeably later than the speaker audio. This isn't just the delay in the bass (wired there's no such problem). I have a subpac which I much prefer for full VR but the one place I've found the Woojer strap useful is when traveling with an Oculus Go. Lying in bed watching a film, I place the strap on my chest (wired with throughput to headphones) for a DIY IMAX experience :)

Hi Can you clarify for me something please I also backed both the strap and tbe vest- my question is, is the strap that is currently sold via Indigogo the updated version of the strap in this review? 🤷♂️ I know the Vest is the updated version being now totally wireless as compared to the abundance of wires in the older vest- Anyway i hope and think it is going to be a great experience with either the strap or the Edge Vest as i want to use them for watching movies with the recently launched Cinera Edge Pro HMD 🤩

Sure it vibrates... to sound, but I'm disappointed to say the least. Thinking it would vibrate to prominent beats. When playing Green Day, it vibrates to something but I'm damn sure it's not to the beats of the music. I'm glad I didn't fork out for the ridiculous £375 - £499 Vest.

As Karl sayd .Its the cheapest way of this technology so its (good) that means 3of5 stars. I was expecting so much from woojer strap and I can´t say im dissapointed but aswell not surprised very much. Anyway your Reviews are perfect if i go for something (new) like this product I will check your review first keep going Karl .
