@@SealeysonSW you can get a lot of wookies in that decks and because young Han cheats out cards a turn early on the curve, you are really taking control. Why wait for your grit, when you can have it immediately!

Thoughts on electrostaff? Boost stats and take a tick less of damage by attacks

I really like electrostaff! I had it in my original build of the deck, but I found the utility of ‘Entrenched’ (being able to put it on their space units for example) came in useful and had a lot more impact upon the game than electrostaff did. However, I would not argue if you wanted to run it as it’s a very good card!

fun theme deck for casual play for sure. It prolly hard counters Sabine pretty good which is a positive on the tournament scene. Probably struggles with a lot of other decently built stuff and for sure struggles with the mill/control decks... but that's not necessarily going to be something you are worried about in general.

@@LanceBryantGrigg Oh it definitely hard counters Sabine and it’s always fun to see their reactions when you play this deck against them. You are right there, at the moment it really struggles against the control and mill decks. However, at the end of the day it’s a really fun deck to play that can surprise your opponent if they aren’t ready for it 😊 I also love trying out different decks and themed decks so a Wookiee deck was a must build deck for me!

That’s a very valid question! I could have, but I did not want to spend £30 just to get 2 R2-D2’s. Since I released this video, I have managed to trade for 2 more of them anyway :)

@@ObiWanKainobi_III I hope you enjoyed the deck :) I think in certain situations ‘let the Wookie win’ has huge potential! And for swapping out vigilance, maybe you could add in ‘repair’ or if you want that big hit of healing ‘midnight repairs’ can also have a huge impact! Another option is just playing all three ‘spark of rebellions’ in your main deck. A nice little one cost you could use is ‘a moment of peace’ to give your units a shield, or maybe even a third ‘make an opening’. There is lots of room to experiment, but those would be my first few suggestions! I hope that helps :)

@@SealeysonSW One more question - coz today my brother pulled two Millenium Falcons in a Spark Booster box and Ill be trading them from him (luckily for me, he's not interested in any light side cards) and you said they'd be good in this deck. So, do I put one or two and what cads from the original deck do I replace them with?

@@ArucardPL Those are some amazing pulls! I still need to get my hands on some Falcons from set 1. I would run 2 of them and replace them with the Concord Dawn Interceptors. The fact you can play out Falcon with chewys ability, give it sentient, have it ready, then bring it back to your hand to re-sentinel it next phase is crazy strong!!! Keep an eye out this week as I my updated Wookiee deck video will be coming out 😊

Also, I pulled Change of Heart and it feels like a card that could be a real game changer late in the game (you take control of an opponent's unit then go kamikaze with it, so not only it gets destroyed, it also damages an opponent's unit). What do you think about replacing Rival's Fall with it?

@@ArucardPL I personally wouldn’t make that change because I feel like Rivals Fall has LOADS of value!! They play out a big unit, gone! They play out a strong leader (which change of heart can’t touch), gone! Feel free to give it a try and let me know how it goes, but for me Rivals Fall stays in. I hope that helps :)

So normally yes I would, but because this is a Wookiee deck I wanted to make it have as many Wookiees as possible! If I was to make it more competitive I would 100% put more in!

@@SealeysonSW this is great. Yellow chewie has been my (Jason) pet project since the games release, the first few episide of our podcast i talk about it.. I will definately try this. I have the 3 let the wookie wins too. The Han is a good question. you want the Grit from the wookies etc, but the Ambush also helps you gain the board advantage. A lot of the time I am down on the board, and its hard to keep my units out long enough. Luke was always a must too, but I could be wrong.
