Janet, Thanks for your sweet compliments! We’re so glad you enjoy our podcast. The weather is predicted to be sunny and 60s for the high so that will be perfect weather. We will travel safely and thanks again! 🤗🧶🍷

Totally love your videos! You gals are always current, have many knots, and fun to listen to. Just an idea: when I have a skein or two left it’s perfect for accessories by adding in a mohair close but not the same as the original knit so as not to be too matchy. I’ve made 1 skein shawls, a hat or fingerless mits with the extra.

I was beginning to get worried…..but now I don’t have to😉. The pictures of your adventures were almost as lovely as your beautiful makes! I absolutely love being able to see them from beginning to end (so to speak). I wanted to let you know that I am continuing to use my bag and stitch marker/progress keepers that I received a little over a year ago…so even without a podcast I think of each of you when I knit. Thank you again very sincerely! Look forward to hearing all about Rhinebeck! Hope you have a wonderful time!

I would like to hear some of your knitting history. All of you seem to be experienced knitters. Do you do other forms of handwork. Love your videos.
@woolandwine3 ай бұрын
This is Claudia. I learned to crochet as a child and also did a little bit of knitting. Over the years, I have done cross-stitch, needle point, stained glass, clay sculpture and pottery. I've always loved working with my hand. I even took a drawing class at one point. Thanks for asking and I will let the others answer for themselves.

I am always amazed how prolific the 3 of you are. I get so much inspiration from seeing your projects. I have decided to make the Letho. It looks so interesting and I found some donegal tweed yarn on sale at Webs awhile back and decided to go for it. I am only in the swatching part right now. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Also a “segment” suggestion/idea. Tami you are a really good knitter maybe you should do a segment like “Ask Tami” or “knitting tips with Tami” maybe do a test run see if people submit questions idk. Just a thought :)

I can’t tell u how sad :( i was working on my “storm” sweater by Petite knit and it’s all over texture including the sleeves. I finished the entire first sleeve and realized i must have turned the body inside out when it as trying it on and when i did the sleeve i knit it on the wrong side of the body!!! So i called my local yarn shop and they told me to rip it out eventhough i said well can’t i do what people do with socks argh i knew i could have done that.
@woolandwine2 ай бұрын
That’s a bummer. We make plenty of mistakes and we need to remember every time that “It’s only knitting”. If it isn’t quite right then we don’t wear them. 🧶🍷
@annabellavampirella3 ай бұрын
Yeah I found the short row part of the pattern confusing. And the fact that page eight is just explaining the colorwork THEN the shortrows.... I had to rip out a colorwork because then I saw the short rows. Ugh. But I might do the back colorwork on the front too, because it's so pretty. But this has not been my favorite pattern 😢
@woolandwine2 ай бұрын
You must be talking about the Letho. I’m Janet and have had many errors and still have a ways to go on it. I think it will be beautiful when Ig finally finish but not sure about making 2. 🤣🧶🍷
@annabellavampirella2 ай бұрын
@@woolandwine Janet, I finally finished it. With 3 extra afterthought welts to make the sleeves shorter and I am adding pockets. I'm with you, I won't be making another one. I had to fight myself frogging this one. 😅
