Fun fact: I bought the previous iteration of this a while ago after playing it in an arcade and having a lot of fun, and it wasn't until after I had got it shipped that I found out there was a japan-only sequel and that's why there was no one playing online. Another fun fact: French Bread made this.

Going through the get into fighting games intro just to NOT here 5 seconds of JoJo Part 4 Opening 1 throws me off heavy. Anyway, Dengenki Bunko, known about it for years seeing Durarara characters in a fighting game, but my recent Sega history trek has me appreciating the Virtua Fighter and Valkyria Chronicles characters included. Also it has Dokoro-chan. That's powerful

I bought the PS3 version that came out in the west strictly because Taiga was in it. Toradora is one of my favorite anime ever and my favorite romance. Couldn't believe she was in a fighting game. Had no idea there was a PS4 version, but I guess it's Japan only. Suppose the PS3 release didn't sell well.

I also read and didn't like the LNs and all the racist subtext behind a lot of the arcs and yeah, as you posted, the incest/eugenics/race purity that goes on in the series (the author really likes his spiels about pure bloodlines and all that crap). A lot of things about that series falls apart once you actually start thinking about the things in it.

That just seemed to fit with my impression of the last couple of episodes because it feels like an odd swerve to me. The guy seems to be happy with the goth girl and suddenly she was just in it for fun and he goes back to his sister? Maybe I am just not a fan of the sister romance route but still.
