Office dogs FTW!!!! I vote yes 💕. I think for absolute beginner just knitting in the round will help. Like a hat or something like that. I was a perfectionist so I always thought my first few rounds were horrible because the tension looked “bad”. I learned the first row or so will always look bad/not how you think it should look. Just keep going. Even if it looks bad the practice of just making stitches helps. Then when you finish you can make another and see your progress. If you’ve never done a craft where you make stitches and tension a yarn it will take some time. Don’t give up!

Yes office dogs, this was refreshing I am trying to get back into knitting at 67 years old and boy my skills retreated and sometimes when I what people on utube knit without looking I want to give up so having people one the same journey is refreshing.

This is so funny! I would also love to see if the two of you make any progress in the coming months. The first thing I knit was when I was a kid and it was a scarf. My grandma obviously knit most of it, but I'd knit a few rows here and there. You're both so brave to make hats first!
