My Nana had a secret admirer all of my recall. Every birthday she received a dozen yellow roses. She also received them after a bad car accident, she was laid up for 9 months and after her 2 heart attacks. The family never felt right giving her yellow roses for any occasion as this was a special thing. When she passed away, 2 local florists ran out of yellow roses and the funeral home said they had never seen so many at service before. This mention today sparked some wonderful memories as my mom never moved away from home and I lived with my Nana until I was 29.

Canadian here... I haven't been able to find Cracklin Oat Bran but my jealousy is muted by the joy you ladies get from yours. I'll be enjoying my annual chicken wing feast.❤

One of my stripey socks colors seems fluffier than the others. I wonder if dyes have their own signature results? Hmmm... My husband just signed us up for Brit Box. I haven't had time to explore it, but it made me realize I'm about 5 seasons behind on "Shetland." I haven't watched it since before my trip there in 2022 with your knitters, dear Anne, so I'll enjoy watching the places! 😊

Never heard of Crackling Oat Bran but I love the idea 💡 of sharing. I've been knitting along sock-wise (Hermione's Everyday Socks) but only nearing the end of one sock 🤭 today! Also made a cowl during these episodes too 😊🇬🇧. Love listening to you chat 😊

Follow up to the “don’t start a new project on a Friday” episode. I asked my friend who lives on Isle of Skye, she has been there 10 years. She asked a local and was told her mother said a project started on a Friday would never be finished. There was no reasoning or explanation but passed on. She previously lived in Dunoon and is originally from Glasgow. Maybe the further North towards Shetland, the more knowledge?

No tatts here but being umm, of that fiber age, we love Craclin’Oat Bran. Hubby calls it “people dog food” because it sorta looks like it, but we only snack on it dry. Brown sugar!!

I can't do Charlie Brown Christmas. I substitute taught and had a music class where I watched the first 20 min several times 😂

I haven't watched any of the kids Christmas movues since my Son was little 20 years ago. My Son didn't care for them sonce other Christmas movies came out with better graphics. I just couldn't as a child I hid from the sad and scary parts and never watched the end LOL. I never cared to carry on that tradition. I'd would rather read a book. I haven't bought my Cracklin Oat it's pricey here in California $6.00 for a box that has shrunk to Euro size. But it would be a 1 time thing 😊. Have a good day.

Sorry I have to disagree, I’m almost 60 and watch Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown, all of them every year at least once. I love them
