I love everything about your videos. One thing I really like is that your husband is not too shy or afraid to be in your videos. wow that's amazing! I've never heard of a Grandmother homeschooling a granddaughter- you must have such a great bond! I hope she can learn to knit! My Grandmother had a go at teaching me when I was young.... it didn't really work but eventually I found the joy! :D Hope you are enjoying retirement :)

I can say that "your" birds sound different than I've heard here on North America's east coast. One must be a mourning dove, the deep, drawn out airy tone like that of a wind instrument. Blessings to you and yours Emma 🧶🌻

Cornell University (here in NYS) has a great bird ID app called Merlin. You just hold up your phone and it lists all the birds it hears. Not sure if it has "international" coverage, though. Thanks for bringing us along! Always enjoyable.

I have Merlin app, and absolutely love it. One great feature about it is that you can “save” a bird that you hear to your “life list”, so you can collect all the birds! Thank you for your great vlogs, Emma.

Your sit spot looks like such a lovely place to knit Emma and glad that you finally saw some sun. I love listening to birdsong but I’m not that great at identifying them yet. However, when you were sat outside with your studio building in the background I could hear wood pigeons, they have a distinctive call. Your levitation wrap looks so cosy, will look forward to seeing the FO.

The new yarn looks soft! What about the Crosshatch shawl by Rachel Brockman (some gorgeous projects of chestnut & white versions) or Sunshine on the Path shawl by Knitography for a one-colour option. I haven't knit either but both are favourited! Or even a sweet skirt for the wee girl (Nora's Skirt by Petiteknit maybe). Fun to try some new yarn I imagine :). Autumn is slowly creeping into the evenings and mornings here too (Ontario, Canada). By the end of any season I'm always eager for the change :).
