Well, I just found your channel and the first video I watched left me jawdropped. This is easily the highest quality peripheral reviewer on KZbin. I hope you review every single peripheral that I ever even just remotely consider to get. Insane!

I just got mine last night. A couple things to comment. First my space bar doesn't have that ping. It's actually one of the better sounding space bars I've had and definitely the best stock one. Second, I was able to update using my normal USB C cable so not sure what was going on with that for you. Great video! I'm stoked to see what other features they add.

Its hard to describe the LEDs but they look amazing. Its hard to describe these without glaze but Ive never seen anything like this before. just wow.
@Icancontrolit16 күн бұрын
watching this with the board sitting right on my desk and as you said, the RGB on this keyboard is something else. Sometimes I just tilt it up and look straight down at it just from how good it looks. The best way to describe it is it doesn't look like individual leds and more like an orchestra of light(crazy glaze). but the per key functions still work great on it. And its also a beast for gaming especially in the rhythm game scene cause I'm now able to play maps which were wayyyy out of field for me X)

Gotta say, the most worrying thing I har on this video (echo'd by other reviewers) is the reliance on the included cable. Considering how often cables go bad this is a concern for me. Be interesting to get an official answer from Wooting on this.
@TheRageAcademy7 күн бұрын
If I get time, I want to test it with the 60HE cable and the TwoHE cable and see if it rejects the update with those. It would be interesting if it does

I just got mine yesterday and didn't have this issue. I was able to update with the same cable I was using with my previous keyboard.

I ordered some pudding pbt keycaps for my 80he. to my surprise....the pinging sound has all but disappeared. the spacebar in particular, is definitely denser than the wotting stock offering. I'm actually pretty happy with the way these cheap AliExpress keys sound. Really nice sound profile and nice feel. But if you like the stock offering, you can always get dampeners for the space bar, they offer several different materials, happy hunting :)

Amazing channel that deserves more love and support. You need to look up methods on how to make your videos pop up more often and I would recommend rebranding. You want a name and logo that matches your content, and as attached as you may be with your current branding, it doesn't really scream "reliable tech review channel"
@TheRageAcademy2 күн бұрын
Thanks for the compliment. Name stays though lol. There’s a ba-jillion “X-tech” channels and only one Rage Academy. In the future, we’re going to explore outside of tech reviews a bit

@TheRageAcademy also i didnt mention it in previous comments, it doesnt need to have any specific features since cs2 wont allow snap tap and those kind of features for keyboards, so just something that is good for the price of 40-50 euros

Depends on what you're talking about. Looks? Feeling? Design? Maybe, yeah. But if you're looking specifically for the rapid trigger feature, it's currently the best on the market. A couple other companies have tried to replicate it, but not quite nailed it.
