Wootz steel from chainsaw chain - Hidden Bokuto Knife

In this video, we will not only show you how to make a hidden bokuto knife, but also show how you can melt wootz steel from a chainsaw chain. We will try to show all the processes of making a knife.
The standard for making bokute is white Japanese oak, but we decided to make the handle and scabbard from carbon. To make the knife stronger and lighter .

I've been binge watching wood working and knife making videos for the past week. I must say this particular Bokuto Knife is the most beautiful thing I've seen so far. The exterior as well as the steel texture... Just mesmerizing . I hope the steel is as sharp as it looks and stays that way. That's a piece of sculpture.

High carbon steel chainsaw chain, Probably probably 1095 or 1040 powder metal With crushed glass on top to seal everything inside the crucible and allow no oxygen into the molten high carbon steel.
