You can get a LONG WAY with a $1,000 workshop, but better tools pay big dividends. A good bandsaw is awesome, but I really want a hydraulic hammer.

Love your work. My only recommendation would be not to do a hard 90 where the blade meets the tang. By doing this you risk creating stress cracks at those two corners, and that can weaken this area. If you ever use the knife to baton wood or chop, there is a high risk the tang will snap off. Same with swords. .

love the effort, dont know if you did this part but didnt include it in the video but you also need to temper the knife after you harden it by putting it in a oven for a couple hours, this stops it from being very brittle, also when hardening, you should only heat the edge to the heel (the edge to where the slant of the edge ends), this can stop the knife splitting in half where it meets the handle
