Here is a compact but powerful fan, the Woozoo Globe. In this video I demonstrate it's air movement, how noisy it is, and how to remove the grill to dust it out. I think this fan is impressive for its size, and a great value.

Great fan I bought on sale from Costco after my 14 year old Vornado died. I have it on a stool 16' from my bed at #4 speed setting which helps tremendously on humid tropical nights. Loved my Vornado but think this fan comes very close to its' quality so far. An added plus is the remote and 3 different oscillation settings. I may add that the back grill cover can also be removed to make for easier cleaning and maintenance.

I just got this Fan for my birthday. It's terrific. I attached the remote to a lanyard to try to keep it from getting lost. Right now I have the fan set on nature mode. It's interesting. Overnight I had the Fan set on the second setting. We're having a heat wave and I don't have air conditioning so this little fan is very very nice. I really like your review on this fan.

Super thorough review. I bought one about a year ago and it’s been amazing to circulate the cool air provided by my efficient window ac. I live in Palm Springs CA, where it’s going to be 116 today. This thing runs all day and night in my bedroom. I bought another to direct air toward the rest of my house and it does the job very well. 😀

This is a great review and I agree with everything you said. My only problem is after only a month of use it’s starting to get a funny noise. Like there’s something inside so I will clean as you demonstrated And hopefully that will take care of it. Also the LED lights are a major bummer because in my small room it makes it extremely bright so I have to cover it up at night and I’m not able to use the remote obviously when it’s covered. Otherwise I really like it.
