This sounds exactly like a Whirlpool direct drive, right down to the neutral drain and then spin drive engagement. It also spins the wrong direction to have been made by GE as General Electric machines of this era spin counter clockwise while Whirlpool-made direct drive spins clockwise.

That's a more realistic review I've seen, thank you. However, one major issue I have to deal with is my Wife's long hair. How does the vacuum deal with tangling that around the roller? How easy is the roller to remove to detangle hair? Agree that those rollers need to be full width. They could still keep the skinny spinning brushes.

Everyone hates me for saying this and I kinda want your opinion. The one thing I like about Roomba is the parts. Availability is the best in the industry. You can still get parts for Roomba’s that are 15 years old. Also that Roomba should definitely be drying the pad with air after it washes. I don’t know if yours is defective or what?
@VacTech1

Parts availability is important and something to consider. I know Ecovacs offers the basics. The Combo 10 Max seems to work fine, and they claim auto-drying, but it hasn't worked well on mine. I will have to look into it, because I've had a defective Roomba before.

@@rudo367 good suction for a robot. It has 4 suction settings (I believe), and can adjust in real time if it detects extra dust. Robots in general don’t have as much suction as regular vacuums, but this one is powerful. A good brushroll for a robot is more important than high pure suction power.

@@esampson2369 that piece is what the cleaner head connects to, the suction channel. It’s just easier to connect if you move it up. The cleaner head connects to it from underneath, and pushes up into it. You’ll hear it click and lock into place. I hope that helps!
