how do I get the boiler to come on at times other than the set times? When its raining and I want to dry coats etc. I used to press to manual and a flame would appear on the left now it just does nothing. Help

Ours was supposed to have instructions he fitted and never left us instructions. Just before mum died it got fiddled with as it was set for funny hours somehow it went on holiday mode. It now doesn't do a thing I on my own not very well and bloody frozen. Sorry for rant. The boiler fitter says it's fine and Worcester said they would send a manual hahaha that was over a year ago. I am really really hoping that this demo will help me reset it so wish me luck. 🙈 thank you for posting this x

The Drayton Digistat +3RF is the biggest pile of crap ever! I spent a whole even going through the instructions with a fine tooth comb setting every day individually as I work shifts.. I got biilednout if bed at 4am! When I go onto manual the temperature only ever reaches 17 degrees.. always cold!

I'm crap with manuals ... just got new boiler and the instructions for this thermostat system is not getting through & I'm freezing and frustrated! however just remembered oh yeah KZbin!!!! my heating is now on thank you. ... don't know if I've set it right ... but main thing ... it's on! I have a Worcester digistat but I do not have a receiver for it as engineer binned it when replacing my boiler and installed the Hive. I am moving house and taking my hive with me so what receiver would I need for the Worcester digistat?

Ok I have a Worcester HIGHFLOW 550 cdi I have boiler temp at 3 but my stat set to 34 so my boiler runs 24.7 but my stat keeps dropping to 24 and my house is to cold at 24 as it’s a 5 bedroom how do I keep it running 24.7 please help

Unfortunately this explanation is completely wrong. There is no 'on' or 'off' as described in this video. Each of the times is merely a point at which the digistat adjusts the room to a different temperature. The giveaway is on page 4 of the manual where from 8:30 to 16:30 it is set at 16 and the manual notes it will be at 16 degrees the whole day. If time 1 was on and 2 off, for example, then after time setting 2 the temperature would not remain at 16 degrees but fall to whatever temperature would be ambient. The best way to think of this is just setting the temperature you need throughout the day and if you truly want an 'off' setting you put the temperature at 7 degrees. Setting it lower than this has no effect as if the temperature falls to lower than 7 degrees a frost protection mode initiates which brings the temperature back to 7 degrees again. My advice would be to ignore this video and read the manual with my description here in mind.
