Thank you! I still prefer to use Word 10 and I could not recall or find a workable solution to my problem until clicking on your explanation. Simply going to custom margins and clicking on default (as others suggested) wasn't the answer. Your instructions, however, worked perfectly.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. See if this helps. Any margins you set for the document will be active when you print. There are also settings in the Print dialog box to adjust margins. And, if you access your printer's properties just prior to printing a document, you can typically make margin adjustments there, as well. I hope that helps. If I'm misunderstanding the question, please let me know and I'll try to help you out. George

Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options. Click Advanced, and then click to select the Show text boundaries check box under Show document content. I hope that helps.
