@@rodClark717 Yeah, usually I would read the announcement at the beginning of the episode to let everyone know this is part of series, but stuff got a little jumbled and this note was the best I could do. Yeah, I like how Micah is keeping you guessing as to what is truly going on...but something is out there...

@justinreynolds13 something always is, true. Micah delivers every time and keeps you engaged. There's always an iconic character or two, humor and relatable situations. Really makes you feel the story around you, and then YOU come in and flesh out the world with sound design. It's almost VR for the blind lol.

@@rodClark717 Ya, just like the sound design, I have free reign to design everything the way it comes to me, this includes the voices as well, and I haven't disappointed Micah yet haha! Ya, when I thought up how to voice Mayor Ackerman, originally the idea was...he's loud, to the point, abrasive, a swindler. I tell people my voice sounds VERY loud in the room when I'm recording his lines, much louder in person than in the recording...that's just how the audio works through a mic. Ya, these productions are like video...but without the visual haha...I think listening on good speakers and headphones usually helps...I do wish I could add video to them, but that starts to get expensive...it would be like animation

@justinreynolds13 any time animation creeps in, it soon becomes the focus. I've seen narrations using AI images, mostly ok but occasionally distracting. What you said about the mayor, that's wildly disruptive in this format but gold in a play lol. You do a fine job with balancing the audio and keeping us immersed and entertained, hopefully it keeps being something you want to do. Very much appreciated and always ready for the next.

I appreciate the depth of the characters in this horror narrative. It adds a layer of realism that makes the scares even more impactful. Great character development!

@@naturalmilkhoneyandzenretr9508 Yeah me too man! The stuff I try to do is bit more involved and takes time though. Each story I try to develop the characters and give them each their own voice, sometimes that comes natural and sometimes I have to work out who they are and what they would sound like, to exhibit their idiosyncrasies. I may not be on the show as much, but I try to make it something interesting every time I do, especially when it's my own production. And all the sound effects and music take a lot of time too hahaha. I look forward to seeing you in the comments...and yes I am working out the details with the author Micah for the 3rd installment of this story at the moment!

I thought we saw the first and last of the Curdler and now we get a sort of prequel and promise of more? Are we going to find out they live in the Village? 😮 That'd be a twist.

I can't tell too much haha...but yes, a third installment is in the works! The ending of this story (part 2) may be a premonition, a foreshadowing that trouble is brewing... I will give you a personal heads up when it may come out. Glad to see ya in the comments Rod!

Interesting story, fantastic narrators! HOWEVER!! The "background" music was overpowering in part one, and dammit, just as loud in part two. Hard to hear the fabulous voices.
