Jesus I love you. You give me the courage to keep going. So I’m patiently waiting for you to take me home. Being a single mother isn’t easy. I’m overwhelmed because both of my children are autistic. I’m struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Please pray for me and my children.

Praise God from the highest mountain. I used to be a daily mass kind of woman. I was in choirs. I sang for funerals and weddings. Now, I watch Mass online, and I travel as much as I possibly can. And when I go in person to receive Jesus in the blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, I sometimes struggle with deep anxiety. Not because of my personal circumstances, but because of having anxiety and depression. I pray unceasingly for my kids and many priests. I pray that God will heal me from being too anxious to sit through Mass. I don't know how this developed or why, but I pray that He heals me from it. I am 52, and I also pray to Him that He will deliver me from loneliness and lack of a good husband. And that He will give me my children and grandchildren back in my life. I pray that He will provide me with a good husband. Even though I got engaged last year, some of my close friends say that I was engaged upon, instead of getting engaged. Evidence seems to be pointing in that direction. I will stay vigilant because Jesus wants everything that I am, especially my brokenness.

You're in my prayers, especially that you keep steadfast in faith and that you keep the ears of your heart atune to what God is telling you. Peace and God's blessings with you.

Martha, Martha. You are anxious about too many things. Turn to God. Not with works, but with your heart. Pray for the Grace to turn everything over to Him. Trust Him with everything, every thought, every goal, every desire, every project, with your going out and with your coming in. God is a Good Father. He cares for you. He is right there with you, ready to help you through every situation. He is Faithful in all His Ways. He even gave His Son Jesus as a ransom for you. Therefore, there is nothing that He would not do for you. Trust God with everything and He will see you through everything.

I love your notion, Bishop Barron, along with Karl Barth, that pride is not our times' greatest sin, but rather sloth. So true. We slough things off, we put off commitment to the most important things mired in day-to-day self concerns. And isn't the Romans reading exactly that St. Augustine read before he became a saint? "Put on the armor of light." One of the most commanding, beautiful phrases in the Letters of Paul. And wasn't it by chance Augustine turned to that page and heard the singing of a child as he did? And from this moment on, his life changed completely. Time to pay attention, like a child, to essential, wondrous things! Thank you again, dear Bishop, for lifting me up.

Racist, xenophobic screaming and refusal to dialogue with get you NOWHERE. But I see it's not simply Ireland that has roused your insane ire, it's the Catholic Church itself.
