@alexrebello5074 True followers of God will always persevere even when faced with challenges or difficult teachings through evangelizing God's faith. I can access to direct God and serve Him without needing a hypocritical priest. I did this before when God's people were in isolation even today. Always think that there is only one left of Jesus' disciples which is the superintendent, where I work who allows all believers to approach God through him by allowing or opening doors for jobs with guidance and support to serve Jesus more effectively for His people. My salary is just right for my job, no doubt about it. St. Sarah, pray for us. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

Thank Bishop Barron, I began listening to your homilies five years ago when I experienced a deep depression. Your homily was a part of my therapy. I thought that I may have needed medication, but our Lord God provided you as my medication because nothing else works. I was 67 years old when I experienced the darkest of depression. I had never experienced depression and didn't know what was happening to me. Every thought was self condemnation, guilt, fears of death, and no sleep. Thanks, be to our Lord God for your teaching. I accepted the pain of purification. I understand that the medication I needed was a better understanding of who God is to me, and your teaching provided my spiritual medications for all fears and doubts. I am free now from the bondaged of sins. Thank you, Joyce Simons ❤

The meaning takes on a "whole new meaning" at the deeper spiritual and religious level that Our Lord Jesus Christ intended for all of this ! Our Lord was a devout Jew who came to "perfect the Law" that had been the Old Covenant for so long. Explore what is the New Covenant at a deeper level and you will be even more amazed !! For then it will be the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that teach you - instead of just Bishop Barron !!

Thanks and God bless you Bishop Barron for your reflection! Your reflection has added to and confirmed some thoughts and reflections I've had of late as to why did our Lord come as a baby. He definitely could've come and appeared as a full-aged adult if he wanted to but no, he came as a "He comes back as this little, tiny, helpless child." (4:32) Why? Well, you said it starting in 5:07 - "Well, right away, everyone's drawn to the baby. Everyone wants to look at the baby, everyone wants to hold the baby." I've come to that same conclusion: those of us that have had babies know that MOST people are just drawn to them. Additionally, whether we want it to be this way or not, babies COMMAND our full attention, dedication, time, effort, love, etc. For us parents, raising a baby refines us like Malachi describes. Although rewarding and fulfilling, man it's hard! A baby doesn't ask you how you're feeling, or if you need more sleep, or if you need a day off, etc. In a similar way, our Lord commands our full attention, dedication, time, effort, love, etc. Is it any wonder that His first COMMANDMENT is to love Him with all of our heart, strength, and soul? God bless you all as you go through your refinement so as to come out pure! 🙏

One thing I love about Bishop Barron's sermons is his seemingly singular ability to tell the story of God as One who subverts expectations. Many people try to subvert expectations as a form of self-expression, as though chaos and unpredictability were desirable personality traits in and of themselves. God subverts expectations, not as some arbitrary expression of power, but always as an exposition of His love for us, and as an ultimate thwart of the devil's best-laid plans

@11:55 The Cross is Terrible I have always been repulsed, and confused by the cross. Of all the icons one might destroy -- why not this one? The cross is a murder weapon! The spirit of Jesus lives on, beyond His corporeal death. This gift teaches us to turn away from sin and shows how severe and tortuous we can become. Thank you for your testimony. I now know that I am not alone in my thinking and in my spirit. Because you witness what I witness, I no longer fear it to be sacrilegious, it is part of the Presentation.

I am indeed so glad that the Feast of the Presentation was on a Sunday so that we could joyfully experience it together as a Church community at Sunday Mass. I was the lector for the first reading, and Bishop Barron's insight illuminated it even more for me. It staggers the mind to think that a Child was born to draw us toward God and also would bring us the power of God's purification. The last part is so profound in helping us see that purification, including any pain involved in it, is a means to bringing us to a state by which we reflect God's holiness and we see how God is renewing the world. It happens in each of us when we're baptized, and rivers of living water continue to flow as the Holy Spirit works in us. Glory to God in the Highest and on Earth peace to people on whom His favor rests!
