This short film is quite wonderfully produced and really emphasizes the spirit of St. Francis as we can apply it to our encounter with the natural world. Great work!

That was really beautiful and genuinely interesting. I'm not Christian but would still be fascinated to learn about more of the Saints. Perhaps Word on Fire could do a whole series.

This is a beautiful piece. It would be great if it could be more historically accurate regarding the crucifix. Franciscans teach that the "San Damiano Cross" was the one that spoke to St. Francis, not the crucifixes that are depicted in the video.

God has the power to create, but He also has the power to destroy or have destroyed... and uses instruments to do His Work in the 'time to tear down' works of God too. Let them respect it too. Quis et Deus. The Flood at the Time of Noah was real and did occur and is evidence of that. The Creation is His to do what He wants with it, even to get rid of things, when it is the time to do so. Quis et Deus, let them have more humility towards there is more than just preservation work that God is doing.
