Words and Pictures: O (1993) - FULL EPISODE

An orange, and on/off switch, an ostrich, an otter, an ox, an octopus... Obviously, Michael Hobbs is going to tell us about the letter O. But not just any letter O - an O with a flick, for some reason. Meanwhile, the story is a soft and reassuring one called Owl Babies, by Martin Waddell.

@VideotapeFTW REALLY annoyed me. Preparing for joined up handwriting IS NOT a concept in the first two years of infant school. Year 2... yes indeed as seen in much later years when Sophie presented ''Words and Pictures Year 2'' but not the younger children.

i like owls they're sooooo cute have you ever read the owl and the pussycat and baby owls are fluffy as hell but barn owls are very endangered owls and dormice and tigers and many other animals

I used to have a Ladybird-style book of The Owl and the Pussycat. Loved it. :-)
