I hear that. I fell in love with Dale B. way back when and always will be. That whole band. Everyone who made this band great.!! Back in Steilacoom WA I drove a Pinto car over the embankment and the only thing that stopped me was a green electric box. Put out most the electricity in that town. After I dealt with the cops and went back to my Sister's house, I walked down to the beach and listened to this whole album. Walked back to Sissy's house and from there I don't remember. LOL!! I was lucky enough to find this album at a record and tape booth of a second hand store which sells collectables and antiques. In spite of obvious handling wear of the record jacket the record itself is pristine, shiny black vinyl without a scratch which leads me to believe that the booth sells a lot of records that used to belong to a local radio station as nearly every record was in the same type of shape and some had in small print on the label of the record "For Station Distribution DJ Play Promotion, Not For Sale".

Do you hear me? Do you care? Do you hear me? Do you care? My lips are moving, and the sound's coming out The words are audible, but I have my doubts That you realize what has been said You look at me as if you're in a daze It's like the feeling at the end of the page When you realize you don't know what you just read What are words for when no one listens anymore? What are words for when no one listens? What are words for when no one listens? It's no use talking at all I might as well go up and talk to a wall 'Cause all the words are having no effect at all It's a funny thing, am I all alone? Something has to happen to change the direction What little filters through is giving you the wrong impression It's a sorry state, I say to myself What are words for when no one listens anymore? What are words for when no one listens? What are words for when no one listens? It's no use talking at all Do you hear me? Do you care? Do you hear me? Do you care? Let me get by Over your dead body Hope to see you soon When will I know? Doors three feet wide with no locks open Walking always backwards in the faces of strangers Time could be my friend But it's less than nowhere now It's less than nowhere now It's less than nowhere now, nowhere now Pursue it any further and another thing you'll find Not only are they deaf and dumb, they could be going blind No one notices, I think I'll dye my hair blue Media overload bombarding you with action It's getting near impossible to cause distraction Someone answer me before I pull out the plug What are words for when no one listens anymore? What are words for when no one listens? What are words for when no one listens? There's no use talking at all What are words for when no one listens anymore? What are words for when no one listens? What are words for when no one listens? There's no use talking at all Do you hear me? Do you care? Do you hear me? Do you care? (Tell me, what are words for?) Do you hear me? (So tell me, what are words for?) Do you care? (Tell me, what are words for?) Do you hear me? (So tell me, what are words for?) Do you care? (So tell me, what are words for?) Do you hear me? Dale Bozzio was an incredible lead vocalist, terrific -- but what made these tracks so tight & incredible was Terry Bozzio's masterful drums. Bozzio was good enough to grace 26 Frank Zappa albums. I'm a drummer and believe me this guy was one of the best -- along with Simon Phillips. God bless you all. Missing Persons issued some of the best rock tunes I ever heard. Melodic, driving, dramatic & well...they should've lasted far longer because they were better than most. Better than most on their bad days as well.
