I’m watching it rn, this is my favourite scene in the book! But also I’m replying here because I’m a Christian and wanted to share the gospel with you! Please consider the Gospel message. To anyone reading this, there is a loving God who wants to save you. And because He loves us, He (Jesus) died on the cross and resurrected 3 days later so we can be forgiven of our sins and be saved. Repent and believe the Gospel! Please consider the state of your soul, don't let this chance pass you by. Believe in Jesus and follow Him so you can have salvation. Life is short, please make the right choice today before its too late. Jesus loves you.

I know Syl's voice actor here was going for frantic desperation, and I 100% respect the effort and energy, but the shrillness of her voice breaking just makes her sound exasperated, which is hilarious. Some of my favorite Kaladin scenes, not in any particular order: -After he was left to hang to face the Stormfather's judgement, and bridge four comes out to pay their respects, and to kill their hopes. And he opens his eyes. -His first bridge run AFTER his visit to the Honor Chasm. -Any scene involving Kaladin saving/protecting Dalinar. Sadeas' betrayal, both of Szeth's attacks on Dalinar. Also when he volunteers to fight 4 Shardbearers to protect Adolin. -When (during one of his flashbacks of Tien's death) he found Tien on the battlefield. How he held him as he died, and for a bit longer after that. -When Dalinar, seeing Kaladin fall trying to save his father, almost ready to speak the fourth Ideal. In order to give him just a little bit more time, somehow sends a "vision"(?) of Tien to Kaladin, who helps him speak the 4th Ideal, which grants him a Shardplate, which lets him save his father. Bunch more, and I didn't really include his "character/emotional" parts as much but yeah

This is amazing. I would pay to see syl remembering what spren she is, or kaladin saying the fourth ideal.

Your interpretation of glyph forming made me realize something. Stormfather said "Your shadow doesnt belong to you" to Dalinar. This line and glyph facing away from Kaladin are probably connected.
@pyroguyman0966 ай бұрын
This scene never fails to make me well up. I never got emotional during movies, books, or music prior to finding Sanderson. Now each book has at least one moment that darn near (and sometimes absolutely) brings me to tears. I can't listen to certain scenes unless I'm alone. While I know Graphic Audio isn't everyone's cup of tea, I can honestly say that they hit these moments out of the park every time. Maybe other times can be mixed strangely or have awkward line delivery, but the big emotional moments are always absolutely incredible. From "we have to go back" to "I die knowing I'm loved" and everything in between. "You cannot have my pain" sends me over the edge every time. I could go on and list every moment from every book, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone.

4:49 I truly think this was Moash’s last chance. He hesitates because he thought Kaladin was reaching for him. If he hadn’t made the Sylblade, Moash might have taken his hand and been saved from his future.
@lutokill4784 Жыл бұрын
There is never a last chance, you can always decide to do good. If Dalinar can become a better man anyone can. The problem with Moash Is that he gains ALL the chances to do good, to accept his faults and change, and decided to throw them away

@@lutokill4784 I agree. I think Darth Vader is the best example. He did evil for a long time. But the love and persistence of his son softened his conscious and repented.
